Forest Winds, Inc.

Established in 2004, Forest Winds is a hot air balloon company owned and operated by the Baity family in Forest, Virginia. The company operates all year-round in the Lynchburg and surrounding area, but only flies on weekends and holidays subject to weather conditions.

Forest Winds currently maintains and flies two balloons: (1) an Aerostar Horizon Series 90,000 cubic foot balloon christened as The Peaks of Otter Trotter, with a capacity of a pilot plus two passengers, and (2) a Firefly AX-8 105,000 cubic foot balloon christened as The Pride of Forest, with a capacity of a pilot plus four passengers.
