Not able to fly this Sunday due to marginal VFR conditions early AM. Moderate afternoon winds precluded PM flight.

Today Ed took his last required flight with an instructor before submitting his application for an airmen certificate (private pilot’s license). Ed piloted the Peaks of Otter Trotter from Thomas Jefferson Elementary School to Calloway Springs Road, making one practice landing along the way. He’s definitely ready for the FAA check ride. Nice flying Ed!
Forest Winds would especially like to thank Darryl, Laura, Ginny and Joseph for allowing us to land and deflate on such a beautiful piece of property.
